Understanding Temple Architecture of Tamil Nadu
it is a new joint heritage‑learning initiative by Archaeo Trails – Centre for Heritage Learning in collaboration with Babu4Heritage (B4H) Initiatives as part of the Temple Heritage Series .
This course is designed for learners of all backgrounds who wish to understand temple architecture in a simple, engaging manner, with Tamil as the medium with Slides in English to ensure clarity and comfort.
Classes begin on May 14, conducted every Thursday from 8:00 pm to 9:15 pm, featuring 7 live online sessions followed by one online MCQ exam. Participants who complete the exam will receive a certificate.
To make learning continuous and interactive, the program includes active WhatsApp support and discussion groups, where learners can ask doubts, share insights, and work out simple assignments during the week. No Notes or study material will be given - but users will be trained to take structured notes which can evolve over a period as a personal reference guide.
This batch will be mentored by Sri. Sivasankar Babu, Curator, Babu4Heritage Initiatives and author of the Tamil Nadu Temple Architecture book.
The course fee is ₹1500, and registrations close on 13 May 2026.
